You’ll build and maintain the infrastructure that powers scalable, reliable, and secure applications in a fast-paced, cloud-native environment. This role combines platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, backend development, automation, and DevOps practices, focusing on improving system reliability, accelerating development workflows, and enabling product teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Develop and support backend services using TypeScript, NestJS, and Node.js.
  • Manage and optimize cloud environments on AWS, including services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and related technologies.
  • Build reusable infrastructure modules, internal platforms, and engineering tools that improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery and deployment automation.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production systems to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Own platform features throughout their lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to monitoring and ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaborate with product engineers to understand challenges and deliver platform solutions that improve development velocity.
  • Implement security best practices, automation, and operational standards across infrastructure and application environments.
  • Contribute to platform improvements that enhance scalability, observability, and operational excellence.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working in Platform Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related infrastructure-focused roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Experience building and supporting backend systems using TypeScript, Node.js, and modern application frameworks.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and other database technologies.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation practices, and production system management.
  • Comfortable working within cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with a focus on reliability and performance.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, high-ownership environment.
