Soundsnap is seeking an independent contractor to create a series of five short, high-quality promotional videos tied to upcoming product releases. You’ll own the creative and post-production workflow ideation, storyboarding, editing, motion graphics integration and collaborate closely with a sound editor to align visuals with an evolving soundtrack. This role requires strong craft, speed, and comfort iterating on tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Brainstorm and storyboard concepts for each of the 5 videos.
• Source compelling stock footage aligned with each video’s narrative.
• Collaborate with the sound editor to develop and sync background soundtracks.
• Integrate motion graphics and titles into cohesive, polished edits.
• Edit and composite using tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Smoke, etc.
• Incorporate feedback quickly and manage timely revisions.
• Prepare final exports and organized project files according to specs.

Ideal Candidate

• Demonstrated experience producing short promotional/brand videos (portfolio/reel required).
• Proficiency in at least one major NLE (Premiere, FCP, Resolve) and familiarity with motion graphics workflows.
• Strong sense of narrative, pacing, and visual storytelling; sharp eye for stock footage selection.
• Comfortable partnering with audio teams; appreciation for sound design and music-driven edits.
• Highly organized, responsive communicator, and reliable under tight deadlines.

Note: Compensation based on experience with potential for future projects if there’s a strong fit.
