You’ll create high-performing paid social ads that blend strong visual storytelling with direct-response marketing across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Snap. This role combines creative editing with performance-driven design, turning raw footage, influencer content, and campaign briefs into polished ads optimized for engagement, conversions, and scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit direct-response video ads optimized for paid social platforms, focusing on strong hooks, pacing, storytelling, and clear calls-to-action.
  • Design static and motion-based ad creatives tailored for Meta, TikTok, Snap, and YouTube campaigns.
  • Transform influencer and user-generated content into polished, conversion-focused ads while maintaining authenticity.
  • Develop multiple ad variants for creative testing and performance optimization.
  • Refine and adapt high-performing creatives to support campaign scaling efforts.
  • Write or improve headlines, scripts, on-screen text, and CTAs optimized for engagement and conversion.
  • Translate campaign briefs, audience insights, and KPIs into compelling visual concepts and ad executions.
  • Research platform trends and performance insights to recommend new creative formats and campaign ideas.
  • Collaborate closely with growth strategists and marketing teams to align creative execution with business objectives.

Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years of experience editing paid social videos and designing high-performing advertising creatives.
  • Proven experience creating direct-response ads for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Snap.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing performance-focused video ads, creative hooks, and conversion-driven static designs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop, including compositing and retouching skills.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and platform-native creative best practices.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects, deadlines, and creative asset variations simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within fast-paced marketing and creative environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using After Effects for motion graphics and animation.
  • Ability to independently write ad copy, short-form scripts, and calls-to-action.
  • Familiarity with creative analytics platforms such as Motion or Triple Whale.
  • Experience using Figma for concepting, collaboration, or asset handoffs.
  • Background working in iterative, test-and-learn creative environments focused on performance optimization.

Contract Details and Benefits

  • Contract position with an initial duration of 3 months.
  • Full-time schedule averaging 40 hours per week.
  • Compensation range of $35–$40 per hour.
