Bitfinex is looking for a strategic and experienced social media manager to lead their social media efforts and build a strong, trust-driven brand presence. The goal is to create and execute campaigns that resonate with financial and crypto-savvy audiences, especially professionals and institutions, while reinforcing the company’s core values of freedom, resilience, and innovation.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Develop Social Strategies: Create and execute a social media roadmap to grow Bitfinex’s community and brand reputation.
- Content Creation: Manage all aspects of social content—from ideation to publishing—across platforms.
- Engagement & Community Growth: Foster meaningful interactions, respond to community sentiment, and build relationships with industry influencers.
- Performance Tracking: Define KPIs, analyze performance, and present insights and improvements regularly to the senior marketing team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with PR, product, and marketing teams to align messaging, gather feedback, and promote launches.
- Trend Awareness: Stay ahead of crypto and financial industry trends to keep content relevant and impactful.
- Reputation Management: Address negative feedback diplomatically and turn critics into advocates.
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in social media management or strategy, preferably in tech, finance, or media.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Strong project management skills: prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and balance short- and long-term goals.
- Cross-functional team experience with creatives, developers, and product managers.
- Crisis handling & diplomacy in online interactions.
- Data-driven approach to social strategy and reporting.
- Technical proficiency with social tools, basic design/GIF editing, and multimedia content.
