WordPress Developer
 You own end-to-end delivery of Burst Statistics, our privacy-friendly analytics plugin for WordPress—spanning React UI, PHP backend, and WordPress plugin architecture. You’ll ship fast, secure features, optimize performance, and keep the admin experience smooth, all within a fully remote, high-ownership team at Team Updraft (makers of UpdraftPlus, WP-Optimize, AIOS, and more).
Key Responsibilities

Build, extend, and maintain Burst Statistics (custom blocks, settings UIs, dashboards) using PHP, React, and WordPress APIs.

Turn specs into clean, reusable components; write inline docs and testing guides.

Optimize plugin performance (data prefetching, queries, caching) and ensure secure code paths.

Integrate seamlessly with core WP workflows (REST API/WPGraphQL, hooks/filters, roles/capabilities).

Triage and fix bugs; debug independently and alongside founders/support.

Collaborate via code reviews and roadmap planning; communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly.

Keep admin UX approachable and accessible; safeguard site speed and footprint.
Ideal Candidate

Expert PHP (WordPress core concepts, plugin structure, security best practices).

Strong JavaScript & React (hooks, state management, async data).

Proven WordPress plugin development experience (shipping features used in production).

Comfortable with MySQL (schema awareness, query optimization) and performance profiling.

Version control fluency (GitHub/GitLab); CI familiarity a plus.

Nice to have: data prefetching strategies, data visualization interest, WPGraphQL/REST, SVN exposure.
