Opportunities don’t last forever. We humans sometimes underestimate things, but think back to decisions you wish you had acted on sooner. Reflect on how much impact they could have had on your life. Recall times when an opportunity disappointed you – it’s a learning experience that gives you an edge in evaluating proposals carefully.

Before making life decisions, I first consider legitimacy, then the required resources. If both check out, there’s no reason not to try. Self-investment isn’t about immediate profits; it’s an ongoing process that pays off unexpectedly. In Africa, we call that “luck”, but from experience, I define luck as when preparedness meets opportunity – then rewards flow abundantly. Prepare yourself today, and rewards will come when you least expect them.
