Junior Product Analyst

As the Junior Product Analyst you will turn gameplay data into decisions that players feel. You’ll partner with developers and designers to uncover opportunities, validate ideas, and guide product bets across titles—using Amplitude, SQL, and structured experimentation to grow fun and business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate company and product goals into clear analysis plans, north-star metrics, and KPIs.
- Explore product and market data in Amplitude; build flexible dashboards and self-serve views.
- Write efficient SQL to pull, join, and QA data; ensure consistency and reliability of key tables.
- Design and evaluate A/B/n tests (success metrics, guardrails, sample sizing) to assess features and flows.
- Work closely with Product, Game Design, and BizDev to size opportunities and prioritize roadmaps.
- Communicate findings with crisp narratives and visuals; recommend actions and track outcomes.
- Contribute to an analytics guild: document methods, share learnings, and raise the team’s bar.
Ideal Candidate
- 1+ year in a similar analytics or product analytics role.
- Strong SQL skills; comfortable with joins, aggregations, and basic window functions.
- Hands-on A/B testing experience and understanding of experimental design.
- Structured, hypothesis-driven thinker with solid critical reasoning.
- Clear communicator who can align diverse teams and handle context switching.
- Self-organized, curious, and proactive; fluent in English.
Nice to Have
- Python for analysis/automation.
- Familiarity with gaming analytics (funnels, D1/D7 retention, ARPDAU, LTV) and Amplitude.
- Experience in the games industry.
