As a Product Designer, you’ll create intuitive, beautiful, and performant product experiences from research and specs to pixels and production code and QA. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and customer success to ship usable, performant interfaces that align with market and customer needs. Designers here code: you’ll design in Figma, implement your work in modern HTML/CSS (React a plus) and iterate based on real-world performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and run lightweight user research; translate insights into clear requirements and specs.
- Design UI, flows, and interactions in Figma; implement responsive, accessible front-end in HTML/CSS.
- Ship to production, own QA, instrumentation, and performance follow-up; iterate quickly.
- Evolve and maintain product identity across app surfaces, docs, and marketing touchpoints.
- Present work clearly; document decisions for async review; manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
- Partner closely with engineering and marketing to scope, prioritize, and deliver impactful features.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Portfolio of shipped web products demonstrating strong UX, UI, and systems thinking.
- Fluency in Figma and semantic, modern HTML/CSS (layout, responsiveness, accessibility, performance).
- Comfort coding your designs end-to-end; Git workflow experience.
- Excellent written communication for an async, remote team.
- Independent, detail-obsessed, collaborative, and open to critique.
Preferred / Bonus
- React/TypeScript proficiency; design systems/components at scale.
- Experience measuring design impact (analytics, experiments, perf budgets).
- Background in content platforms, editors, or CMS-adjacent tools.
- Remote product experience within UTC-5 to UTC+3.
