Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive product experiences across database tools, developer workflows, onboarding experiences, and new product features.
• Translate product ideas and complex technical requirements into user flows, working prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Lead complex design challenges from early exploration through final implementation, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives.
• Build interactive prototypes that communicate ideas clearly, validate concepts, and create alignment across product and engineering teams.
• Identify potential usability challenges early and develop thoughtful solutions that improve clarity, accessibility, and overall user experience.
• Collaborate closely with Product Engineers, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Product Marketing Managers, Success Engineers, Sales, and fellow designers.
• Conduct and apply user research, customer feedback, behavioral insights, and product data to inform and validate design decisions.
• Simplify complex technical workflows while maintaining the functionality and flexibility required by developer audiences.
• Contribute reusable design patterns and product primitives that can be extended across multiple products, features, and use cases.
• Maintain consistency, usability, and scalability across a growing product ecosystem while continuously raising the standard of product craft.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong product design experience with the ability to take ideas from early concepts through polished, production-ready experiences.
• Skilled in interaction design, user experience, prototyping, user flows, and high-fidelity interface design.
• Comfortable designing complex products and workflows for technical or developer-focused audiences.
• Strong prototyping mindset with a preference for demonstrating ideas visually and interactively rather than relying solely on documentation.
• Able to balance speed and design quality, understanding when to explore deeply and when to move quickly toward implementation.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design with the ability to incorporate research, feedback, and data into design decisions.
• Comfortable collaborating with people across engineering, product, marketing, customer success, and other disciplines.

• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools and working with code when building or testing product concepts.
