Coalition Technologies is hiring a Solutions Architect, a senior-level development and consulting role responsible for defining, planning, and executing web design and development projects. This fully remote role requires both technical expertise and client-facing communication skills to deliver best-in-class solutions for e-commerce and CMS platforms.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultation: Lead technical scoping sessions and provide best-practice recommendations for platforms like Shopify, Magento, WordPress, and BigCommerce.
• Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team on demos, RFP responses, and proposals to ensure solutions align with client needs.
• Documentation & Analysis: Capture and define project requirements, needs analysis, and technical specifications.
• Internal Leadership: Work with cross-functional teams (design, development, project management) to develop repeatable solutions and plan projects.
• Platform Expertise: Stay up to date on platform features and trends to guide client strategy.
• Development Support: Assist with high-value projects and provide emergency dev support for major accounts.
• Thought Leadership: Contribute to white papers, sales collateral, and internal process improvements.

🔹 Required Qualifications

• Experience: 4–5+ years in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or senior web development.
• Tech Stack:
• Strong with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
• Proficiency with CMS and eCommerce platforms: BigCommerce, Shopify, Magento, WordPress
• Consultative Skills:
• Experienced in solution architecture and technical product demos
• Comfortable presenting to both C-level executives and technical stakeholders
• Business Knowledge: Understanding of commerce workflows, including POS, ERP, payment gateways, and order management systems.
• Soft Skills:
• Self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to collaborate across departments and inspire teams
