Coalition Technologies is hiring a WordPress Developer to join their 100% remote, globally distributed team. This role involves custom theme and plugin development, performance optimisation, and plugin integration. It’s ideal for experienced developers with strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, front-end technologies, and plugin ecosystems like WooCommerce and WPML.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support WordPress websites
• Build custom themes and plugins
• Migrate websites from other platforms to WordPress
• Integrate and configure plugins (e.g., WooCommerce, WPML, membership plugins)
• Optimize page speed and WordPress performance
• Implement SEO/CRO best practices
• Convert PSD designs to HTML5/CSS3 responsive templates
• Use version control systems (GIT/SVN)
• Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail

🔹 Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in WordPress development
• Proficiency in:
• Custom theme/plugin development
• PHP/MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX
• LAMP stack environment
• Deep understanding of WordPress architecture and admin usability
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with W3C standards and accessibility guidelines
• Excellent communication in written and spoken English
• Reliable remote setup: fast computer, internet, power, and audio gear
• Full-time availability: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm PST

🔹 Preferred Skills

• Experience with BigCommerce, Magento, Shopify
• Experience with ReactJS/AngularJS
