Front-End Engineer
You’ll lead the platform’s first-touch web experience—secure sign-up, sign-in, onboarding, and recovery—plus the member-facing surfaces that drive engagement (credit score views and personalized insights). Partner with Product and Design to ship data-driven features, pilot initiatives like tailored action plans and GenAI in-app search, and raise reliability through stronger test tooling in a fast-moving organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and harden authentication flows (registration, onboarding, login, account recovery) with a security-first mindset.
- Develop and refine UIs for credit score monitoring and member engagement; reduce friction across growth funnels.
- Partner with Product/Design to deliver consumer features end-to-end—scoping, experimentation, and iteration.
- Prototype and launch personalized action plans; integrate GenAI-powered search for financial questions.
- Improve test coverage and tooling to increase quality, reliability, and velocity.
- Instrument analytics and use data to inform decisions on usability, conversion, and retention.
- Operate autonomously within a large engineering organization and communicate clearly in Slack-centric workflows.
Ideal Candidate
- Senior front-end or full-stack engineer with a track record shipping consumer web features at scale.
- Proficient with TypeScript and GraphQL (React experience a plus).
- Full-stack capability in JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with Scala, Java, or PHP also welcomed.
- Hands-on experience building secure auth flows (e.g., MFA, rate-limiting, recovery, abuse/fraud awareness).
- Comfortable optimizing user journeys and engagement funnels with Product and Design.
- Self-directed, clear written communication, and effective collaborator in large teams.
- Exposure to fraud-aware systems or growth funnels preferred.
Employment & Compensation (W2 Only)
- Status: W2 employment required per client policy (no C2C/1099).
- Rate: $75.00–$90.00 per hour (W2).
